ALLISON GRAHAM

Biz-Growth Consultant, Resiliency Ninja, lover of the word FU-CHAAA!

Her Story: The Road to Resiliency Ninja

Through my company, Elevate Biz, I speak at conferences and consult for amazing companies showing them how to develop business, find more clients and network more profitably. I also have been blessed to do some media work and I’ve even written a book called From Business Cards to Business Relationships: Personal Branding & Profitable Networking Made Easy.

That’s my public image.

Privately, I’ve dealt with a series of difficult blows during my decade of hell, when it felt like I was playing an unending game of whack-a-mole, swatting down one problem just in time for another to erupt. Can you relate?

Building a successful business with chronic nerve pain (caused by a botched surgery), multiple injuries (8 breaks/tears), several deaths of people close to me, and spurts of depression that were all compounded by self-doubt and internal judgments, wasn’t easy, but I did it.

Now, I’m on a mission to help others become more resilient. In my latest book Married My Mom, Birthed a Dog: How to Be Resilient When Life Sucks! I share my story to give hope and tools so you can bounce back faster and say FU-CHAAA to whatever challenges the proverbial fan blows your way.

ROSE HASTREITER

Soulful vocalist, composer, facilitator and productivity Jedi

Her Story: "Fairytales from a Soldiers Daughter-Building a Life Beyond Survival"

Each moment holds within it a choice to go beyond survival. Rose founded Leonty3C.com, a Canadian firm that helps people shift into thrive. Her industry background as an IT project management leader, instructor, speaker, and facilitator combined with her professional creative background as an internationally-recognized composer and vocalist, shares one mission: to inspire days-well- lived.

As the daughter of a WWII survivor, she began her career at a young age so to take care of herself and her elderly father, who navigated the daily impacts of post-war trauma. By the age of 20, she was representing Canada as a speaker at international conferences while finishing her degree at UBC and developing her management consulting profession. Over 20 years later, her consulting cases span a variety of organizations, including for-profit, non-profit, government, and academic arenas. Her specialty is empowering project team functionality, action follow-through, and productivity. Her workshops boost quality of action through an integrated tactical and human approach.

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, she has worked extensively through Canada and in 2009, moved her office and studio to the spectacular Fundy Isles region in New Brunswick. She considers herself a citizen of the world, so when people ask where home is, she’ll normally point out “wherever my feet are”. She is known for her energy, authenticity, and powerful stage presence, speaking on topics of leadership, productivity, humanity and resilience.

SARAH HILTON

Fighter, faithful and fun, dedicated to the message of Mental Health

Her Story: The Mystery of Mental Health.
It took Sarah Hilton a moment to recognize her passion and her goal for the future; to stop silence, stigma and suicide by speaking out and training workplaces on Mental Health.

It took Sarah a lifetime of living with her father, diagnosed with Depression, to realize that unless families paid more attention to their children, parents and friends, people will suffer from silence and stigma.

It took Sarah over 20 years of working in the Mental Health field to come to the conclusion that unless society takes a look at preventing mental illness and promoting mental health she would still be working with the most severe of mental illnesses, chronic and critical.

Sarah spends her time advocating for Mental Health through stories, sharing and speaking out. Today you will hear how your home, your business and your community have a responsibility to speak out, share and support Mental Health. With the tools you pick up today you will have an opportunity to celebrate Mental Health, and live your authentic, awesome life. Mental Health is everyone’s business, and when addressed can help you reach heights you never dreamed of.
